Land of the Maple

We'd a wee walk at Lac Sukely today (extra).
There was plenty of water sport options at the visitor centre but we opted to stay dry. The walk took us through map,e woods to another little lake where there was a viewpoint and picnic tables. All very well laid out and clean and tidy. We'd a good lunch at the cafe before coming home.
It's interesting to me how French this area is - quite a few folk cannot speak English and at times you've to remind yourself that you are in Canada not France.
