Evening Parkette

This is a tiny parkette behind the Bay Adelaide Centre. By day it isn't much, but it looked a bit more charming at night as I was cutting through on my way to dinner with friends.

It was a surprisingly fun end to my day. I discovered mid-morning that some lovely friends, who I have not seen in some time, were in the City for a family medicine conference. Dear husband agreed to spot me for an impromptu evening out. It has been two decades since we were wide-eyed undergraduate students together, but except for our topics of conversation, there wasn't much difference all told between the kids on the cusp of their 20s and the women on the cusp of their 40s.
