(De) Parting Shot

Well that whizzed by in a flash. Fabulous 2 and a bit weeks in the Spanish countryside.

Delaying the return to apparent autumn for two of us with a couple of days in Barcelona. Having started to dress a little feral - swimsuits and sun dresses and bare feet - and with not much else in my case I feel a little country mouse arriving here.

Settled into our lovely hotel on La Rambla, a quick exploratory walk and stock up on water and snacks and a very chilled out evening snuggled in our fluffy dressing gowns eating room service, watching Avengers Assemble. Perfect after a quite tiring packing up, travel day.

Time before all that for a final swim in the pool and hasta luego until the next time. Which will hopefully involve me meeting up with builders...
