CyclopsJnr was thrilled to be reunited with his woodland teacher today, one of his favourite parts of nursery. They learned about toadstools and observed a hole perhaps dug by a badger. CyclopsJnr was full of chat about these things.

After, CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops made a cake. CyclopsJnr wanted to make a loaf cake. We selected a recipe which involved mixing in about two thirds of a chocolate orange. It was surprisingly successful. We had a slice, warm.

Cyclops was working from home so we finished the day with three games of dominoes and two of Shopping List.

MrsCyclops notes that the older version of Shopping List that we played in hospital had sweeties in it, which have been replaced by aubergine in the new version!!
