Seed Saving

S was on holiday today so I had a more leisurely day myself, a bit of work but also got to the gym and continued with my seed saving.

At the weekend, it was alliums and today it was the turn of the delphinium (next it’ll be the aquilegias). I saw/heard my first skein of geese fly over this evening while I was separating the seeds from the pods/chaff - it suddenly felt very autumnal.

I also finished Geoff Hamilton’s Cottage Garden book this evening, next year is the year we’ll get it right :)
