Turbo the Tortoise

A last-minute blip of Turbo tucking into his favourite breakfast of dandelion leaves.

As well as other salad leaves, especially rocket, he's allowed half a cherry tomato per week. For a bit of variety I've given him small pieces of carrot and apple which he has wolfed down.

He leads a pretty boring life, so food must be his only pleasure!

As the owners don't get back from their holiday for another few days, my final task is to take Lottie to kennels and Freckle to the vet's, where she'll board and they'll keep an eye on her health.

Tomorrow I'm off gallivanting to Peebles with pal Gill...
