Drenched - backblip

Dreadful weather today and our trip down the big hill to the town of Church Stretton was even more perilous/adventurous than ever in the driving rain and thick mist.  Many of the sheep found shelter under the lea of the outcrops of the hills but the poor ponies just stood in abject misery and some of them, like this one stood right in the middle of the road - it was a very ghostly scene when they appeared out of the mist right in front of you.

The flying day was scrubbed and the end of Task Week Dinner and award ceremony was brought forward to lunch.
