It is some time since...

... I published a mono blip on a Monday. This doesn't fit the current Mono Monday theme of Balance but I liked the shot -  and, in a sense, I think the composition is balanced. Of course the first, very appropriate, comment corrected my impression that today was Monday. Public holidays on Mondays always make me think they are Sundays.

The image is of the octagonal tower of St Helen's Church in the centre of York, from where the pigeons can look down on the never-ending queue of people for Betty's Tearoom.
