First Dahlia

The dahlias are blooming at the National Capitol Dahlia Society garden.  This morning was my first trip to photograph them.  There are several in bloom, and many more to come.  My favorites are the ones with the curled petals in the center.  I hope they like hot and humid weather because they will be getting a lot of it this week.
