Impressively large

By which I mean the biceps The Dizzle has acquired from his exercise regime. But Scout is impressively large in other ways, despite being one leg short of a full set.

Time seemed to be on my side today, and I made the most of it. Some overdue electrical work and cleaning in the morning. Dejunked the side alley so that we can actually get the bikes in and out without taking them all through the house.

The Dizzle came home from London with an impressively large tattoo, his own variation on the Eye Of Horus theme. It does look amazing. He is delighted to have joined the "body as art" club and coped admirably with the pain. Subject of a future blip when it is settled in.

"Me time" today was equally positive. Watched a BBC documentary about the weird and wonderful Angela Carter. Got out on the bike. Read more of my latest novel (The Robber Bride). Went for coffee and cake with Strider. Did some creative cooking. All rather lovely, even if the health is a bit unstable.

This, as they say, is the life.
