The heron chased away the moorhens and used their nest to survey the pond - still no sign of the elusive koi carp!

I have a similar problem with a tenant on a property I own - talk about going round in circles but I am stuck in a legal mire that means the council would rather pay me rent on his behalf even though he doesn't live there any more, than pay the rent to a new landlord who is happy to have him. We have a complete stalemate. Life is easier for a heron.
