Hello little bear-like Marmot

What a surprise to see him so close, maybe that is why he looked like a whoppa! This was early in the morning so he was not fully aware of me.

The weather was due to change to very stormy this afternoon so I was glad to get to the Col des Chamois and back down to the hut before the heavens opened. However I still had to walk down to the valley in the rain and cross 4 small streams that had turned into chocolate coloured rivers! The extra gives some idea of how heavy the rain was, looking out of the hut doorway. Now I am heading to bed, quite exhausted. A bit too much of an adventure for one day!
