The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Wednesday August 29th 2018)

Decorating Wednesday went well today with Refna and me tackling the fence panelling facing the driveway. I may blip the results in tomorrow's morning light, or I may wait until next week when it will be closer to completion.

Just after she had put some netting over the pond to catch the falling leaves, a frog tried to hop into the pond and landed on the net. I haven't seen Malcolm or Sid Toad in the pond recently but a toad has been heard croaking there a week ago, probably Sid. However, Malcolm, the larger amphibian, who was greener than Sid, disappeared a while ago and R. thinks this may be Malcolm, actually a female frog, returning.

We also saw an artistic caterpillar at work on its latest creation, a sculpted nasturtium leaf; and a grasshopper, modelled in the Extra by R.
