Wednesday: Streetside Seating

Several days after getting here, we still find ourselves waking up at 0430 in the morning and being awake for a while. But we sleep well either side of it, so it's no biggy.

We hired bikes today and cycled out to the headland where we rented sun beds for a good part of the day. We relaxed, swam, read, dozed and did some ridiculously easy crosswords (feline pet, 3 letters, starts with 'c'......anyone?). I picked them up at the airport in Canada - maybe I should have gone for the 'medium' category, rather than easy.......

This evening we continued the backgammon challenge before dinner. I have to say of all the things we miss about Croatia, the food isn't one of them.......

Regarding the photo, the pavement was a bit on a slope so it was a bit hard to know how to align the photo.
