The photo shows the latest addition Fire Service  ALP (aerial lifting platform) soaring sixty feet above the top of the fire tower which is used for training purposes. It will reach 11 storeys high - app 32 mtrs or 105 ft and very soon the service will be taking delivery of one that can reach a staggering 16 storeys high. It will be the highest reaching ALP in the UK. That should be some ride!
