The last days

or rays of the sunset it could have been but it is in fact the last days of the phallic symbol you see to the left of this image.  Queens Wharf tower is to be deconstructed on Monday.  It was erected (how appropriate) in 1988 in the bicentennial celebrations.  The council says it costs too much to maintain and so it has to go.  I think the council costs too much to maintain but do you think those councillors will go away.  Not on your nellie.

I had a most enjoyable long lunch with a former work colleague and am fit to bursting.  A little wine was consumed which made what was left of the afternoon flash past.  What's more, tomorrow is Friday and the weekend is almost here.
