Sunset, Loch Skene Again

Quiet day catching my breath and finishing references for work.
Went out and got some air, coffee and shopping,
followed by a dash out to Loch Skene as the sun headed west.

Sunlight had been gorgeous all day
and sunset promised to be spectacular.
However, it was a real damp squib.
Cloud bubbled and disappeared and with nothing much to reflect off
it just quietly slipped over the rim to Tussock Tales.

The noise of hundreds of geese settling to roost was deafening
but just too far away to be of any use to me and my lens.
One day a fast 3 or 400mm lens will come my way,
with a full frame sensor on one end but for now,
will just have to content myself with nature's broad sweep.
Enjoy.
