“Have a heart”

I love travelling and walking through history and we’ve been lucky enough to visit the remains of many ancient civilisations.

We’ve been to the pyramids of Egypt, the amazing city of Petra in Jordan, the top of Mount Sinai, the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia and more but for all the things we’ve collected on our travels this tiny alabaster heart shaped amulet is one of my favourite possessions.

It is from the 18th dynasty of the Egyptian New Kingdom around 1400 BC, making it almost 3500 years old which still makes me say wow!

Just as a footnote, it was purchased legally and legitimately from an authorised dealer :-)
