Darent Valley

We had a long, and at times very tiring, circular walk from home to the Mount Vineyard.

The weather was changeable. If began very grey and cloudy and later became very warm.

We had lunch at the vineyard. Their tasting room with the retractable roof is now run as a restaurant and if was very busy.

The uphill walk back was quite exhausting and the free apples and strawberries in the commercial polytunnels were a welcoming diversion.
