Peninsula Light

Tullich Steading silhouetted against the evening sky.

Was out late, as ever, and in the hope of catching the moonrise, but there was too much cloud about, and I only caught sight of it briefly through a slight gap. Something that I hadn't expected to see made another of the late in the day (or more of an early in the night) wanders worthwhile, was a Barn Owl hunting near the bay. It did a couple of loops nearby, and gave out a loud screech at one point. Other bird life heard, but not seen included Curlews, Redshanks, and Greenshanks. Loads of Greylag Geese flying about, honking away, as they do.
