Come on Alty.

I love midweek games. The atmosphere is totally different to a Saturday, never more so than tonight.

F.A. Cup 1st round replay, Altrincham v. Burton. Two divisions separate the teams and the Alty players are all part-time. Nonetheless, they came within 2 minutes of beating Burton when they first met, so who knows what will happen.....well I do actually, and it wasn't Alty!

Still, great atmosphere (like the giant-killing days of the early 80s) and a good game of football. The queue was right round the ground when I arrived, it was a shame that the result went against them.
