A Glimpse of our landscape

After all the goings on from yesterday, we decided a day off was needed.

Late breakie whilst watching the All Blacks beat Italy 42 - 10 (a replay) we headed off to who knew where. Finally ending up in Geraldine for a late lunch at our favourite cafe Verde. Sat outside, enjoying the sunshine then took a wander around. It is the last day of Geraldine's Art and Plant Festival and enjoyed poking around at the displays.
Geraldine has a decadent Chocolate Shop, a sign outside took my eye....."Seven days without chocolate, make one weak". So thats my problem :)

This landscape was taken on the way out to Geraldine, amazing clouds today (sometimes threatening). The sun lighting the mound and below caught my eye. Some fresh snow overnight on the hills beyond.
Did look lovely in colour, but today is a sepia kind of day. Hope you like it.
