St Mary's

It has been a beautiful warm day to start September, and it was a similar day when we were married on 1st September, 56 years ago. Our reception was in a garden and people got sunburnt! Today we celebrated with a pub lunch with very old friends. Afterwards they came back to our house for coffee and we sat outside, chatting as old friends can do so well.
We were married in St Mary's Church, Reigate, and this watercolour was a wedding gift to us from my stepfather, such a lovely idea which has been a treasured possession ever since.
