poppy

Had 2 of the grandsons today (mum and sister visiting great-grandad, dad and grandad at a service for a new minister) so we went for a walk to the ponds.
No birds on the water but various insects around and some flowers. I didn't take many pics but liked the effects on several. I couldn't decide what to blip so here's a poppy and there are the boys and a dead plant in extras.
We weregoing to have pizza for tea but they informed me when we went shopping they had some yesterday so it was pasta and smoked sausage insetead
Just been watching an Adventure Show with a couple of glimpses of a friend from the running club (she was 4th in the British Orienteering Champs).
