Betty's Gang

Today we had the party for F.M.i.L. Her birthday is in December, when she will be 90, but Marlane wanted to do something when her sister Fiffi (Yvonne) was visiting from Tasmania. Mikki (Michaela) was also over here from Chicago and Dee (Deirdre) from Venlo in Holland. Sonia travelled all of five miles to get to our house so a special mention for her :-)
The photograph was taken after some had left but it was a busy day and it didn't occur to me to take many photos. This was at night and using a tripod and a 10 second delay so I could take my seat.

I tried to use the extra for my blip but the file is too small. Mikki had it taken with her phone camera and it shows all five of Betty's daughters, including a photograph of eldest daughter, Johanna, who lost her life in a car accident aged 16 in 1969. Betty is holding the photograph.
There is an extra girl in the photo, Lizzie, who is leaning over her mother (Fiffi), I don't think she realised it was to be a photo of Betty and her daughters! HAHAHAHAHAHA


What a spread, 3 days work in total preparing for today but it was worth it. Apart from the daughters of Betty we had Julia, Johanna, Luke, Ruby, Daniel, Joanne, Hendrix, Dhylan, Lennon, Sonia's daughter Leah and her family and her son Kyle and his family and Dee's friend and companion, Ria.
Quite a crowd for 'Afternoon Tea' that went on until 22:00!
