"If one's good...

...two's better " is a well -used expression of Dr D so I kept stitching till late into the evening and hand stitched the binding onto this second , otherwise finished quilt before he returns tomorrow after almost a fortnight in the South Island . Today has been very wet and spasmodically very windy too so the quilt's position on the outdoor furniture was very temporary...it had already been wind-whipped off the buxus hedge that I used for yesterday's quilt.
Another bright and cheery one for the "grandsons' choice" pile , if you look carefully you'll perhaps spot bugs and bees, boats and balloons, jandals and hot air balloons and umbrellas and the odd cat.
And today, after housework was completed , I continued piecing a pinky pastel shaded hexagon quilt for a baby girl's cot. Which little girl? No idea...just felt like a change of colour scheme  : ))
