The same as every day this week, work and then hospital. A nurse walked by and said Jeanie was going home today! She is still in a lot of pain, and really not mobile, and the care home haven't been in to assess her yet. But at about 2.45 two paramedics arrived, and transferred her onto their trolley and back we went to the care home, (there was space for me to go with her). The care home weren't happy as the hospital had said she was walking, and clearly was unable to stand, let alone walk, so we used slide sheets to move her into her bed. The home had saved her a lunch in case she was hungry,  She ate all the creamy bit of cheesecake.
Glad that she has made it back to the home, without contracting any hospital infections.
Back home for me after a few hours in the home, another tired one.
