Let's Rock Diabetes

We went to a fund-raiser for JDRF, a diabetes research charity, organised by one of hubby's workmates whose teenage daughter has Type 1 diabetes.
It kicked off with Scython, a group of 16 year olds whose music covers made Metallica sound like easy listening! They were followed by more first-time-giggers, Peruvian Fighting Sheep (!). Also appearing were The Full Motley, Leander Morales, Rock Dog (pictured here, easily the most popular, they got everyone dancing - they covered some absolute classics including some Stones and early Queen songs), Natural Tendency, Control The Storm (the bass player was the daughter of another of hubby's workmates) and Hot Flex.
It was fun, it was loud and it raised loads of money for a great cause.
Oh, my poor ears!!
