Last Day.....

Retired and redundant.....

It was my last day at work today. I'v been here for nearly 28 years. 

Unfortunately, the campus is closing next summer, due to lack of students. But I decided to leave a year early, along with 4 of my colleagues. 

We had a great send off today, with lots of friends and colleagues, past and present. I knew there wouldn't be much time for photos so just grabbed one before the celebrations started.

We had our "do" in the place where we've all worked over a number of years - the university library. and we started the day with Prosecco and strawberries at break!

It was a strange day, with mixed feelings, but it's now time for the next chapter..........
