Tropical garden

Our palm tree is steadily getting taller and taller. It is not keeping pace with the Tulip Tree but is neck and neck with the Magnolia. I love the architectural shape of the leaves.
A quiet day in the garden until we got a phone call from a French friend who lives in the Minerve area asking if he could come for the night. The freezer was raided and food quickly prepared and a very good evening had under the stars. Fig and chocolate cake - can't beat it!
