I was one! 
It was a lucky day when I decided to apply for a job as a programmer trainee. I went from great hulking IBM 360 computers that took up a room to DEC PDP-11 minicomputers to Apple microcomputers in the course of a few years. 

But now I get lost on the internet like everybody else.

I prayed for all the people I've worked with, and all the people who work in the places I frequent, and all the people whose labor I depend on, especially farmers and those who keep the streets paved, the water running, and the lights lit.
