Hopefully Hot Stuff

This red chilli is currently cooking in my bean stew.  Tasted quite hot as I chopped it, but I find sometimes that cooking mellows them.

It was a challenging day.  I had to use one of my "Emergency Tablets" for the first time because I was just digging up old memories of times when I felt like Scheiß.  Took a tablet and then distracted myself with a crossword.  An hour later and everything was fine.

Managed to get to the one of the cheap German supermarkets that you don't have in Britain - Netto.  

They are a bit like Aldi & Lidl but not so random with the odd products.  And, interestingly, according to my German teacher, they aren't supermarkets, they are "Discounters".  I have so far failed to see the difference.

Anyway.  Shopping, home, dishwasher emptied and dinner cooking.  That's a marvellous day - especially if you had seen me around midday.

Oh and I was sad to read this.  I too had a teenage crush on Servalan.
