Board Games

Most grandparents will know about board games.

I do my bit even though sometimes I might not seem wildly enthusiastic. Especially when the call comes just as I have settled down to an hours reading of Hillary Clintons book about why she lost.

But I know my first duty.

The trouble is that it is so often a game I have not played before. It takes the whole of the game before I have even begun to learn the rules and objectives. So I always come last. Does anyone else have that problem?

But I can still win at Scrabble.
