Banff and Buchan College

Travelled up to Banff and Buchan College today with three colleagues - one from college and two from local secondary schools. We went up to find out more about B&B's model of delivery of Higher National Certificates to school pupils. A very early start and very long journey but a most enjoyable and worthwhile visit meeting college and school staff and five young school students who participate in this optional timetable. One of the young lads had actually completed and left school and is now a Modern Apprentice, his suitability for offer of place strengthened through gaining an HNC Mechanical Engineering.
