Edinburgh Haymarket

At last had a ride on the new Hitachi 385 class EMU from Glasgow to Edinburgh. They are fast comfortable clean and vibrate less than the 170 diesels which the new fleet is replacing. My other journey reason was to see the exceptional artwork of Barbara Rae during and after her North West Passage Arctic sailings. Also shown were some amazing Inuit artifacts some collected by Sir John Rae (no relation) during his years living with the Inuit. They are on loan from Aberdeen University.
