Old friends, late evening at “the bookstore” bar

Oh my ..the city is so “busy” .. a few necessary errands, a car wash and a trip to the new Nordic museum was plenty...
And then...... It took us 65 minutes to meet these old friends from out of town at a downtown restaurant ( 10minutes with no traffic,) but we had a lovely dinner and gab session and also birthday cake!! But I liked this picture better at the bar in their hotel afterwards. The guy in the middle is the same as the “Hemingway” from the sailboat in the photo from the island a few days ago ( Friday) ..after a shave in Seattle. These 3 guys were medical colleagues once upon a time, And it’s been years for us girls to be together! All very fun!! I must get used to the city now.... the trolley stops at 9 pm and it was 11pm when we got there so it was a long walk to our car!

Thanks so much for all the kind wishes on my birthday yesterday....much appreciated. hopefully I will get it together soon to make comments. And especially to blipper /friend Mike who left birthday sweet cake hanging on our doorknob when we arrived home like 26 hours ago! How nice is that.? And it’s still Wednesday for a few minutes longer.
