Yewbarrow

The exotic Yewbarrow House NGS open garden in Grange-Over-Sands. 
If you happened to own five hotels in Cumbria, you too could have a five acre garden like this, with statuary, two swimming pools, a moon viewing terrace, a maple walk and lots of dahlias. 
It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon with G, and our friends I and M, and of course Gilbert. 
I do like a garden that allows dogs, and in this case, also provides excellent cake on one of the terraces.
