"Where is that smoke coming from.....

..... is something on fire?" No, it's just Vic 32 coming along the canal. I couldn't have timed my arrival on the towpath better. Vic 32 is an inshore cargo vessel, commonly referred to in the west of Scotland as a 'puffer.' She has a coal fired steam engine, hence all the puffs of smoke.  I waved at the folk on board, and they waved back,
 "Chust sublime," said a man beside me wearing a seaman's hat.
