What a difference

two and a quarter hours makes to the weather.  The Barnstaple Camera Club's  last Summer walk of the season and it was the worst, weather wise, of them all.  At 6.15 we had a torrential downpour so instead of going for a walk we went straight to the pub! We have been thoroughly spoiled with the meals we have enjoyed over the past ten weeks or so; sadly tonight did not live up to that standard.
At 8.30 pm the sun had all but disappeared but there was a faint glow in the distance and on the remaining water in the estuary.  The red light from the lighthouse showed as did the lights of a large building in the far distance.
