Prizren

Drove back to Tirana via Kosovo, there are 2 routes from where we were, 1 via the ferry and the other this one.
We stopped in Gjakove and had coffee and a tour of the city which had been badly damaged by fire in the conflict of less than 20 years ago (as well as being the site of one of the mass graves). The old Ottoman bazaar has been rebuilt and, although tehre are a lot of coffee shops, the cottage  industries are in decline. In the extra are some traditional cradles and we visited a shop where the elderly man is still working (can't afford to stop) with no-one to take over. He also makes miniature ones.
The on to Prizren for lunch and a short wander (the trees by the river were decorated with crochet spider webs) before heading SW on a fabulous new road through the mountains, an amazing feat of engineering.
Back in Tirana we had time for showers before our final meal together.
