A owl

Day 5 of Cornish hols and we visited the owl sanctuary 10 mins from Roche. We walked straight into a Meet the Owls talk and we got to learn a bit about them and stroke their little faces. Was dead cute. Coffee and a cake in the tea room set us up for a walk around the enclosures.

This massive owl is Jess. He was huge. Like a flying penguin.

We then went for a drive through Bodmin Moor, complete with a desperate search for a toilet (clean public loos are a godsend) and we headed back to the Jamaica Inn for lunch and a mooch round the gift shop that we missed last time.

No hot tub time tonight. Weather is overcast and windy and we're at the top of a hill. There'd be no water left.
