Tomatoes

It had rained heavily overnight, but turned out to be quite a nice day.

Another kitchen designer came to measure the kitchen today and although we have already visited their showrooms, I was not impressed with their measuring. They appeared to measure things that were not relevant and were convened about where the gas pipes were. They do not have their own fitters, but have people they sub-contract too! I was not impressed with the length of time it will take them to do a plan, seven to ten days. The other kitchen designer did the whole lot in about an hour.

Today’s picture is the last of the outdoor tomatoes. I picked them all, as we are likely to start getting frosts in our frost hollow garden. Some of them are already ripe enough to eat, but the green ones will probably be made into chutney; there are some recipes for green tomato chutney using a slow cooker so I might try that.
