Fig season

Chris came with Poppy for a rainy woodland walk. I forgot to take my camera so missed a blip of lots of fungi of different types we past.

Aside from that I have finished my book and started another, loaned by our host last night. It is written by the head of the school we both taught at for a short period.

I had to make a 16 mile round trip to an outlying surgery to let blood for a routine check, there being no appointments with a nurse or paramedic at our surgery for 2 weeks.
