Room with a view

Well, here I am in the Golden Jubilee hospital Glasgow in preparation for knee surgery tomorrow morning.
I will be first on the list- 7.45am.

This is the view from my room. All rooms at the Golden Jubilee are single because this was originally built as a private hospital for wealthy Arabs.
But the Arabs preferred London. So the NHS took took it over and it is now used as an overflow for routine operations which Health Boards can’t do within the three month waiting time.
