Meanwhile, Roy and I hired a couple of bikes ( old, a little bit heavy, and creaky... but that's just me... ) and pottered up to a monastery on the hill. Walked a bit beyond to the headland for great views, then whooshed down and back along the front to Faros for a refreshing beer ( see extras ).
I completed the mini triathlon with a gentle swim - Roy declined, as he'd had a little run this morning ;)
Meeting the others for ouzo in the square and a meal at Armenon later.
