Adamas at Rest

The bay in which Adamas ( or Adamantas ) sits has been carved out of the caldera of a volcano. It has a relatively narrow inlet but is almost like a massive swimming pool as it is unaffected by the ocean currents and any waves are the result of wind or the wake from large vessels. It was unusually calm this morning as you can see from the yacht reflections in the harbour area
