Gentian

We went on a hiking tour in the Binn valley, Wallis, Switzerland. We went to Mässersee, a lake at 2150 m above sea level. We started at 1600 and reached the lake after 2 hours’ walk. We had a peaceful break up there in sunshine and needed another two hours to get back to our car. We were really lucky to see all the cattle decorated with flower wreaths getting down from their mountain pastures in a in a long row - unfortunately only from far away. First you could only hear their bells then you could see them , tiny spots from the other side of the valley.
The extras show the the lake with partof the Aletsch glacier in the background and the procession of the cows.
