Fun day!

We went to the hummingbird festival today! We had fun but were a little disappointed bc we were not allowed into the feeding area as they were catching and banding birds there. The children got to feel the little heartbeat ( 250x a minute at rest!). This gives you some idea of how tiny they are. This is little Fire Ant. In the extras, Chunky Monkey got hot and tired! She’s holding a newly hatched Monarch butterfly!
