Since my Daughter Nic moved out with Diva, Dex has been like this...

Like he just can't get close enough...

I'm sitting on the couch in this photo with dex laying squashed as close as he can get to me, with his neck bent up so his face is pointing up my arm at me.

I love this dog as probably as much as I love my kids.
