Ribblehead viaduct

Rather an icon in the North Yorkshire Dales, this 19th century viaduct carries the trains across the Ribble Dale on the route from Settle to Carlisle further north. It is possible to catch a steam train which goes across, that must be pretty special. The area around here is quite rugged, beautiful but l imagine a challenge to live in in winter.
